Ingredients

2 cups of Corn flour

4 cups of Water

1 kilogram of Cazón

Oil

Plastic bag

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare these empanadas, start by placing the corn flour in a pot with water and salt, mixing until obtaining a homogeneous dough.

Step 2 : Then, knead the dough gently to ensure it is smooth and free of lumps, and let it rest.

Step 3 : Next, divide the dough into portions and form balls with them, trying to give them the best possible shape.

Step 4 : Place one of the balls in a plastic bag and flatten or roll it out until it is flat over the bag.

Step 5 : In the center of the dough, add the pre-seasoned cazón, making sure not to put too much to prevent it from spilling out when frying.

Step 6 : Fold the plastic bag to give the empanada a half-moon shape and seal the edges with a fork.

Step 7 : Once all the empanadas are filled and sealed, fry them in enough oil in a pan for 8-10 minutes.

Step 8 : Finally, serve and enjoy these delicious filled empanadas.
