Andean Chicken Soup
Ingredients
1 Creole chicken
5 Chopped corn cobs
2 Chopped onions
4 Garlic cloves
1 A bunch of cilantro
1 Spring onion stalk
2 Spanish celery stalks
500 grams of Peeled potatoes
500 grams of Cheese
1 liter of Milk
1 can of Cream
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, start by cutting the chicken into pieces.
Step 2 : Then, cook the chicken in a pot with enough water, corn cobs, cilantro, Spanish celery, garlic, and onion.
Step 3 : Season with salt and pepper and continue cooking until the chicken is tender; then, remove it from the broth and shred it.
Step 4 : Strain the broth where the chicken was cooked and bring it back to the stove.
Step 5 : Add the corn, chopped potatoes, and chicken pieces.
Step 6 : When the potatoes are soft, add the cubed cheese and adjust the flavor.
Step 7 : Add the hot milk and thick cream, let it boil for about two minutes, and remove from heat.
Step 8 : Serve the dish and garnish with chopped spring onion and cilantro.
