Venezuelan Macarrón
Ingredients
1 cup of Water
½ kilogram of Wheat flour
1 tablespoon of Large butter
1 Egg
1 Panela
1 Cinnamon stick
4 Cloves
2 teaspoons of Baking powder
1 tablespoon of Milk
1 Grated coconut
Preparation
Step 1 : In a container, combine water with panela, cinnamon, and cloves until dissolved.
Step 2 : Then, cook until reduced, strain, and let cool.
Step 3 : Once cooled, add the sifted flour and baking powder, butter, powdered milk, grated coconut, and egg.
Step 4 : Mix until all ingredients are integrated.
Step 5 : Using a wooden spatula, place the mixture in a pre-greased and floured rectangular mold.
Step 6 : Bake for 1 hour until a toothpick inserted comes out dry.
Step 7 : Then, let cool and cut into several pieces.
