Ingredients

4 cups of Wheat flour

3 cups of Sugar

400 grams of Butter

10 Eggs

½ cup of Concentrated pineapple juice

1 can of Canned pineapple

Canned cherry

1 tablespoon of Baking powder

Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious cake, start by mixing the concentrated pineapple juice with the syrup from the pineapple can.

Step 2 : In a separate bowl, beat the butter with 2 ½ cups of sugar until creamy.

Step 3 : Next, add the egg yolks, pineapple juice, vanilla, and the flour previously mixed with the baking powder.

Step 4 : Then, gently fold in the beaten egg whites until integrated.

Step 5 : Prepare a caramel with 1 cup of sugar and ½ cup of water in the baking dish where the cake will be baked.

Step 6 : Place the pineapple slices at the bottom of the dish and the maraschino cherries in the center of each slice.

Step 7 : Pour the cake batter over the fruits and place in a preheated oven at 180°C.

Step 8 : Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the cake is well baked.

Step 9 : Once ready, remove the cake from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

Step 10 : Then, carefully invert the cake so the fruits are on top.
